Stahl welcomes pigs, pasta and pennies to the campus

Kissing a pig

Assistant Principal Christopher Specia goes in for a smooch.

In an effort to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Stahl Elementary School partnered with the Olive Garden’s Pasta for Pennies Campaign hosted in February.

This campaign turned out to be a huge success with Stahl students raising a total of $3,158.04! We would like to take this opportunity to thank our top three classes who collected the most money: Mrs. Tenney’s 5th grade class, Mr. Pierdolla’s 4th grade class and Mrs. Burnett’s 2nd grade class. Mrs. Tenney’s class was awarded a pasta party catered by Olive Garden as the campus’ big winner in addition to receiving Spurs and Rampage tickets. Mr. Pierdolla’s and Mrs. Burnett’s class received free Rampage tickets for being the 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Students and staff were given an opportunity at Stahl’s annual Friendship Dance to donate money for the administrator they wanted to see kiss a pig. The lucky winner was Stahl’s Assistant Principal, Christopher Specia with a total of over $80.00!

Thank you to all of the students, faculty and administrators who helped make this a success.
