Future STEM Engineers invited to Texas A&M University

Students from STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Academy were selected to receive a special tour of Texas A&M College of Engineering on Sept. 30. Upon arrival, students had the opportunity to see the various schools of engineering, such as Civil, Mechanical, Biomedical, Petroleum and Electrical.

After a specialized tour the students received information from the College of Admissions, asked questions of current engineering students and participated in a tour of the university. Texas A&M is expanding their engineering department to have 25,000 engineering students enrolled by 2025. The STEM students selected for this special opportunity include Zahra Barsi, Lizette Cordova, Pierre Ferrer, Austin Freund, Daniel Joaquin, Sawyer Kim, Zachary Lopez, Dario Rendon, Jacob Rodriguez, Alyssa Vidaurri, Dan Worcester, and Zachary Zagnoni.
