Reagan yearbook receives first place in national competition

Image of Reagan yearbook.The 2012 Ronald Reagan High School Regalia Yearbook received a first place rating in the American Scholastic Press Association’s annual yearbook competition. This is the fifth year in a row the Regalia has won this top rating.

The 13th edition of the Regalia’s theme was “Another Dimension” and featured 3D photos. An ASPA judge certified a first place rating for overall excellence in the fields of theme, presentation, page design, photography, publication, structure and creativity.

The 2012 Regalia Editor-in-Chief was Annie Maropis and the publication is advised under Monique Sandoval with a staff of 18 Advanced Journalism students.

ASPA judges over 2,000 publications annually in the categories of high school yearbooks, newspapers and magazines. For more information and a listing of winners, please click here.
