Reagan makes large donation to children's shelter

On Jan. 30, 2012, Art Supplies for Kids (A.S.K.). will make a donation presentation to representatives from the Children's Shelter in front of the main building at Reagan High School. A.S.K. was established by Reagan students, parent, and faculty to raise art and baby supplies for the Children's Shelter. U.S. Army North partnered with Reagan this year to hold the donation drive.

Reagan students wanted to provide a gift to less fortunate children in San Antonio and help to develop pride and a belief in service to the community. Parents and faculty believe the best way to pass the spirit of giving is by providing an example...lead by example and mentor the next generation how to develop, administer and execute a philanthropy project.

A.S.K. has received Stone Oak business support and raised approximately $10,000 worth of supplies for the shelter.
