Molly Pruitt Library's Summer Reading Club
Have you done a science experiment lately? Have you tried out a new craft? Have you shared a funny poem? Have you solved a mystery? Have you traveled through time?
The summer of 2014 is the perfect time to do ALL these things – and the library is ready to help. Join the Mayor’s Summer Reading Club (12 and under) and explore your reading options, experiment with new genres, expand your literary horizons!
Children, tweens, teens and adults can sign up for Summer Reading at any San Antonio Public Library or join online at mysapl.org/srp. For children 12 and under all you have to do is keep track of the books you read – or listen to – and receive a Reading Club certificate signed by Mayor Castro and a free paperback book to keep. Readers need to complete 8 books over the summer. Listeners complete 15.
Along with the Reading Club – the Library offers free activities for kids, tweens, teens, and adults of all ages throughout June, July, and August. Lots of programs are listed on this schedule – but you’ll find even more when you visit the library’s electronic calendar at mysapl.org/calendar.aspx.
Don’t miss out on a summer of Fizz Boom Fun!
