At its monthly Outstanding Student Recognition Program, the Windcrest Optimist Club gave special recognition to students from schools within the North East ISD Roosevelt High School cluster for their conduct, citizenship, scholastic success and optimistic attitude. Following introductions and words of praise from their school teachers and principals, the students were presented special Optimist Club plaques for their achievements.

The following NEISD students were presented recognition plaques by Club President Bob Kerrigan:  Walzem Elementary - Ernest Sanchez; White Middle School -  Christopher Johnson; Krueger Middle School - Jenna Falks; and Windcrest Elementary - Adriana Padgett.
