Cub Scouts deliver bikes to Oak Grove students

On Oct. 15 the Cub Scout Troop associated with Oak Grove Elementary School's sister school, Vineyard Ranch Elementary School, delivered gently used and refurbished bikes for eight of our students. School principal, Harold Massey, will distribute the bikes accordingly and in time for Oak Grove students to use at their upcoming Bike Rodeo.

Randy Crider, troop leader, also delivered snacks and drinks Vineyard Ranch PTA has collected for Oak Grove's Leader in Me/Health and Wellness event, which took place on Oct. 17. "Thank you to the scouts for choosing our school to be the recipients of their first service project," said Adriana Rivera, family specialist at Oak Grove. "Kudos also to the Vineyard Ranch community for your generous contributions."
