Northwood celebrating public schools with seuss
Seuss was on the loose during Texas Public Schools Week, March 3 -7, at Northwood Elementary School. The campus celebrated public schools by honoring the educational gifts Dr. Seuss books have given to children for so many years.
The students created their own section of the campus called, "Seussville," wear decorations honoring the legendary author adorned the walls. During classroom time, students enjoyed learning and working on activities correlated with Dr. Seuss books in relation to reading, rhyming, word families, addition, measurement and writing.
