Jackson-Keller Career Day inspires students

An HEB Representative and H-E-Buddy were at the Jackson Keller Career Day.

Jackson-Keller Elementary School students participated in Career Day through many of the local community members. The group of Career Day Presenter included members of the U.S. Border Patrol, Laredo Sector, HEB, BBVA Compass Bank, Juvenile Detention Officer, Culinary Institute of America, Castle Hills Police Department and a DEA Agent.

Presenters brought souvenirs to distribute to students and provided many hands on activities. The purpose of Career Day is to bring awareness to students and the opportunities for their future.
