The Johnson drumline brought a pep rally feel to
This is a special year for Encino Park Elementary School as it marks their 25th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, the school hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the start of their Open House on Aug. 22.
School staff, students and families attended the event that included a host of features, including several food trucks for those who wanted to grab some dinner after the back-to-school event.
Students and parents were able to meet teachers and get information on cafeteria meals, transportation, PTA and special programs.
Guests were greeted by the Johnson High School drumline and pep squad, along with the elementary school’s mascot, Eddie the Eagle.
Additionally, approximately 20 community partners set up tables in the library to give Encino Park families information and materials about their resources.
It was a great day for the entire Encino Park community.
