Woodstone celebrates seussday
Happy Seussday to you!
Woodstone Elementary School kindergarten teachers celebrated Seussday, or Dr. Seuss’s birthday, in many ways this year. Apart from dressing up as “Teacher 1”, “Teacher 2” and so on, they organized several activities with their students.
Among those activities were rhyming word scavenger hunts, word family Cat in the Hat hats, reading many Dr. Seuss books, writing a story about what they would do if Thing 1 and Thing 2 came to their home, and painting Thing 1 and Thing 2 handprints.
The teachers and students both had a great time and cannot wait to do it all again next year.
Teacher 1, Teacher 2, Teacher 3, Teacher 4, Teacher 5 and Teacher 6 celebrate Seussday at Woodstone!
Reading happens everywhere on Seussday at Woodstone.
