Wood staff find unique way to celebrate new school year
Wood Middle School teachers began their staff development on Monday, August 20 with an activity called Symbolize You. Teachers were given a painter's hat and then drew symbols on their hat that represented their personal and professional selves. Staff then had to look for others to share their symbols.
The purpose of the activity was for teachers to get to know each other in order for them to work collaboratively for student success.
"The staff had fun learning about each other as we prepare to receive our students on first day of school," said Christine Lowak, pricnipal. "Our goal is to continue building relationships with our students."
