Wilshire students perform at state capitol

The Wilshire Elementary School fourth and fifth grade choir made a memorable trip to the Texas capitol on November 8. After a picnic on the grounds and a quick tour of the different legislative chambers, the students gathered in the rotunda to entertain passersby with several melodies.

"Special thanks to Rep. Ruth Jones McClendon for sponsoring our trip," said Lindsey Johnson, teacher. "Wilshire students will always remember their chance to sing in the capitol."
