White finds success in District UIL Tournament
White Middle School was represented by six students at the UIL Speech tournament held at Nimitz Middle School on Jan. 22. The students representing White were seventh grader Brandon Hall and eighth graders James Bryan, Jose Morado, Paola Ortolaza, Diamond Taylor and Chastity Ussery.
Morado brought home fourth place in Impromptu Speaking and Ussery brought home fifth place in Modern Oratory.
"Thank you and Congratulations to all students who participated and represented Ed White Middle School in a fabulous manner!" said Michelle Ramos-Martinez, teacher.
