Thousand oaks celebrates the rodeo

Thousand Oaks Elementary School celebrated the rodeo with stories, campfire songs and horses.

Students heard from special guests who read books to them. They also learned about bull riding, horses and the unique vocabulary used by their riders. Students were able to learn from a live horse on the campus.

Students were encouraged to dress in their best cowboy/cowgirl gear for the Rodeo Day.
