Thousand oaks hosts a dr. seuss relay race

To celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday and Read Across America Day, Thousand Oaks Elementary School held a "Dr. Seuss Relay Race". The race started on morning announcements where the book was handed off to a student in the first class.

Every grade level class in the school read the same copy of "Green Eggs and Ham" during the school day. The copy was passed from classroom to classroom. When the last class's relay participant brought the book to the library, the time was noted.
