Tejeda hosts school dance, first for the year

DATE: Nov. 6
TIME: 3:45 - 8 p.m.
LOCATION: Tejeda MS, Cafeteria, 2909 Evans

The Tejeda Middle School Student Council will host the first dance of the year on Friday, Nov. 6. Dancing to the theme of "The Wild, Wild West," sixth-graders will attend after school from 3:45-5:15 p.m. and all seventh- and eighth-graders will attend from 6 - 8 p.m.

Tickets will be sold during all three lunches Monday through Thursday the week of the dance. For both a dance ticket and a meal deal the price is only $6. The meal deal includes a sausage wrap, chips, a candy and a drink. A ticket for only the dance (no meal deal) is $4. Tickets will also be sold at the door on Friday for $5, but a meal deal will not be offered. You can buy concessions at the dance for $1 each.

There will be a DJ and chances to win prizes, such as gift cards. All profits from tickets and concessions will go toward a new concession stand on the football field, future spirit items, community service projects and more campus and community focused events.
