tejeda Legacy 2012 yearbook awarded twice
The Legacy 2012 Yearbook staff from Tejeda Middle School, under the advisement of Clair Lavender-Hicks and Mikel Stroud, have received two different awards for their efforts in design and creation.
The first award was from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA). The 2012 Legacy Yearbook received a Silver Medalist Certificate. Their yearbook was judged on three specific areas: Reference, Verbal and Visual. This is the second year in a row the Legacy has received this award.
The second award was from the National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA). The 2012 yearbook staff received the ranking of First Class with Two Marks of Distinction in the areas of Coverage and Photography.
