TIME: 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
LOCATION: gym, Tejeda middle school, 2909 evans road
Tejeda Middle School is hosting a Dare 2B PAWsitive event designed to build a stronger connection between students.
The goal of the Dare 2B PAWsitive Program is to get students talking about common teen issues like name-calling, racism, stereotypes, gossip, self-esteem, and cliques. This powerful experience is intended to leave students with a positive message and an opportunity to build new relationships.
Noel Pampa, Team Craft relationship coach, will work with students on teambuilding exercises. Students will hear from NEISD STAN Counselors from Johnson, Reagan and Lee high schools. One Johnson High School football player will share his experiences with bullies.
The T-Wolves Against Bullies (TAB) organization is sponsoring the event. TAB is a student-focused campus group that strives to promote kindness and to teach tolerance. TAB believes that remaining proactive with common teenage issues allows our campus to continually find ways to prevent bullying and to encourage positive student interactions.
