Tejeda Robotics Club builds five robots
The Tejeda Middle School Robotics Club has successfully built five LEGO NXT robots. Club teams are called EPA, Robot Masters, GK-99, Super Rover and Zany Zingers.
The teams programmed the robots using computer software. The robots can follow a black line, detect distance, listen for sounds, and tell the difference between a blue or red ball before it whacks it!
"Our next goal is to successfully maneuver the robots through an obstacle course," said Marilu Ramey, club sponsor and science teacher.
