Harris, vineyard Ranch present at team up challenge finals

Harris Middle School and Vineyard Ranch Elementary Schools must now wait to learn the results of the Team Up Challenge. Both schools had a team present in the finals Tuesday, April 8 at the AT&T Center.

Five of 20 semifinalists will receive an additional $20,000 grant for it's school project. The finalists will be selected based on online votes from the community and from a panel of judges at the final presentations.

Harris would use the money to continue to grow it's community garden and add classes it teaches to the community. Vineyard Ranch would use the money to produce more Love Note Pillows for children in the hospital. Both schools received $2,500 in October to get the projects going.
