NEISD offers free summer feeding program
North East ISD will sponsor the USDA Summer Food Service Program, providing free meals to children 18 years of age and younger.
“As we approach the end of the traditional school year, we are working to assure that free meals don’t end when the school doors close,” said Sharon Glosson, executive director of the NEISD School Nutrition Services. “These summer meals will provide the same nutrition that our students receive throughout the year through the National School Lunch Program.”
Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:
