Serna and Starbucks team up

Serna fourth and fifth graders had the opportunity to shine and demonstrate the Starbucks Green Apron Principles at the first Serna/Starbuck’s partnership event. At the Starbuck’s on Walzem Road, the Serna students offered samples to customers and connected with community members.

“This experience allowed our students the opportunity to get out into the community and put into practice the leadership skills they’ve learned in the classroom while serving others,” said Lisa Noll, Serna assistant principal.
