Royal Ridge principal awarded $1,050 for school
August 16, H-E-B hosted a scavenger hunt at their McCreless location (H-E-B plus). Each participating school district selected one principal to participate. All participating principals received $1,000 in H-E-B gift cards for their school. Debbie Fey, principal of Royal Ridge Elementary school, represented both her campus and NEISD.
The principals were given a list of supplies and had to run down the school supply aisle and place the supplies on the list in their basket. The principal that completed their list first won.
First, second, and third place winners earned additional gift cards. The day before the scavenger hunt, participating principals received an email of an additional contest. The principal who posted the event on their Facebook page and received the most "likes" won an additional $50 gift card.
Fey did not place in the scavenger hunt; however, she did win the Facebook contest. H-E-B gave Royal Ridge a total of $1,050.
