Roosevelt Freshmen take part in Prep Day 2012
Roosevelt High School held Prep Days during the week of August 14 for each grade level of students. On Thursday, August 16, 2012, they held Freshmen Orientation Days with half of the group of students attending in the morning and the other half in the afternoon. Each freshmen session was four hours long, and included a welcoming session in the auditorium that featured performances from many groups and organizations. This was also where the students learned the expectations for dress code and behavior. They then received tours of the campus, distribution of books, lockers, and id cards.
Student leaders from the other grade levels led the tours and assisted the incoming Rough Riders with questions.
