roosevelt student video answers "who was roosevelt?"
In the summer of 2013, the Roosevelt High School administration was looking to produce a video that would explain its namesake, Theodore Roosevelt, to its school community.
Matt Billman, a senior at the Design and Technology Academy (DATA) at Roosevelt, quickly took on the challenge. He volunteered his time and talents to produce an informative and engaging video over the course of just three weeks. It was shown at DATA Convocation, and the school plans on using it over and over again.
"Matt's video is a perfect example of how one student took the lessons learned in the classroom and applied them to create a relevant and quality product," said Russ Claughton, DATA director.
His next project will be to create the DATA recruitment video for viewing by future Rough Riders.
