Roan Forest teacher earns Region 20 Award

Maribel Alvarado, second grade teacher at Roan Forest Elementary School, has been named the Dual Language Teacher of the Year for Region 20. She was selected from teachers across the southern region of Texas by a panel of judges representing the profession. Alvarado was recognized at a special luncheon sponsored by the Region 20 Education Service Center.
