Award-winning character at Redland Oaks
Redland Oaks Elementary School first-grader Noah Rivera, nominated by his teacher, was named a Tim Duncan Character Award Winner for having the outstanding character trait of respect and for making great character choices. For this effort, Rivera received two tickets to a Spurs game, a Tim Duncan Character Award Winner T-shirt and a certificate.
The Tim Duncan Character Award encourages and rewards students who demonstrate core character traits, such as integrity, respect, dependability, fairness, caring, and civic responsibility.
"Thank you, Noah, for displaying these exemplary character traits in Mrs. Johnson's classroom and on campus," said Redland Oaks Principal Mary Longloy. "Redland Oaks staff and students congratulate you for being recognized as a Tim Duncan Character Award winner."
