Reagan student featured in national publication
Lauren Trexler, a Reagan High School student in Sarah Pagona's art class appears as Art Student of the Month in the September/October issue of Scholastic Art. This Magazine is a national publication and is used in art classrooms throughout the country. The magazine brings art students exciting, full-color features on the most important contemporary, classic, and student artists from around the world.
"This achievement has enabled me to see in art in my future career path and be much more serious about it. It made me want to strive for a well rounded art skill set and portfolio as I advance," said Trexler.
Trexler's artwork "Flight" was selected from National Gold Key winning artworks. She created an award-winning drawing using the elements of art and principals of design.
