reagan national art honor society wins competition

Congratulations to Reagan National Art Honor Society (NAHS) students and art teacher Jessica Gonzales. The group won $500 in the S.M.A.R.T. (Supporting Multiple Arts Resources Together)/Waste Management Dumpster Design competition at the third annual Pie to the People at the historic La Villita on Saturday, Mar. 9.

The students spent many hours planning the design and had only three hours to complete the mural. The NAHS dumpster will be used by Waste Management to promote recycling and conservation in the San Antonio and Houston markets.
