reagan latin students earn first place

On Saturday, Dec. 15, the Reagan High School Latin Certamen team took first place in the Intermediate Division, challenged by students from Clark, Antonian, St. Mary's Hall and St. Andrew's Episcopal School.

In certamen, students test their knowledge of Latin grammar, vocabulary, translation, mythology, and Roman history in a team-buzzer competition. The Reagan Latin students hope to defend their trophy at the January certamen meet at St. Mary's Hall.
