Reagan Student Named Outstanding High School Mentor

On January 20, 2012 the San Antonio Mentoring Forum held their Annual Mentor Recognition Luncheon. This luncheon takes place every January in honor of National Mentoring Month, and this year's keynote speaker was Mayor Julian Castro. During the annual luncheon, mentoring efforts by individuals in the community are recognized. Kelsey Platt, a senior from Reagan High School and a member of the Peer Assistance and Leadership program, was recognized as this year’s Outstanding High School Student Mentor.
