olmos kicks off tech grant project
Olmos and Clear Spring elementary schools were selected to participate in an exciting technology grant called T.E.C.H. - Taking Elementary Classrooms Home. This year both campuses will receive iPads for 3rd and 4th grade students to check out and take home for completing homework.
The vision of this program is that students and families will have an opportunity to extend learning beyond the four walls of a classroom by providing access to digital resources without reliance on Internet connectivity.
The goals include increasing student engagement and motivation for learning, increasing overall student success, increasing 3rd and 4th grade student performance in math, and increasing access to relevant technology tools and resources for individualized instruction. It is an exciting opportunity for students at both schools.
