Nimitz hosts Dia de los Muertos family activity

TIME: 5 - 7 p.m.
LOCATION: Nimitz MS, Room 101, 5426 Blanco Rd.

On Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 5 p.m., Nimitz Middle School invites parents and students to learn about Dia de los Muertos (day of the dead) and make their own family alters honoring deceased family members and friends. Parents and students will be able to make their own altars and participate in the procession taking place the following day, during eighth period at the school. Parents are asked to bring pictures of those they wish to honor.
