NEISD Art students shine at competition
NEISD art teachers accompanied students to the the regional Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) on Saturday, Feb. 9, and the results were overwhelming.
NEISD has almost 60 students advancing to the state competition.
NEISD entries made up nearly half of all the artwork entered by ten school districts.

Jennifer Janak, NESA, with 15 advancing
The teacher with the 2nd highest number of State Qualifiers in Region 20W
Luis Salinas with 10 advancing - Johnson High School
The teacher with the 3rd highest number of State Qualifiers in Region 20W
Stephanie White with 8 advancing - MacArthur High School
