Schools collect more than 3,500 toys

Schools collect more than 3,000 toysSchool across the district united in their efforts to participate in the Toys for Tots program, and collected more than 3,500 toys. U.S. Marines spent the day on Wednesday, Dec. 5 visiting NEISD campuses to pick up toys.

Bush Middle School collected more than 1,900 new toys for the drive--the most that the Welcome Home newspaper has seen since they've been coordinating the drive. The Bush campus drive was coordinated by Suzanne Revell through the National Junior Honor Society program. Revell is featured in the video.
