neisd offers FREE summer feeding program
North East ISD will sponsor the USDA Summer Food Service Program, providing free lunches to children 18 years of age and younger.
"North East ISD is excited to offer the Summer Meals Program again this year,” said Sharon Glosson, School Nutrition Services executive director. “We understand that many families depend on school meals and that need doesn't end with the school year. I want to encourage all children to join us at the selected sites for a healthy, delicious meal this summer."
Children do not have to sign up for meals. They may simply come to the site during the appropriate times. Regulations require that meals must be eaten at the lunch site. Accompanying adults may be asked to show identification.
