NEISD bands make State Finals

On Tuesday, November 6, Johnson and Reagan high school bands competed in the UIL State Marching Band competition at the Alamodome. Both bands made it to the finals--top ten.

Johnson and Reagan earned their spots to compete at state as a result of their performances at the Area Marching Band competition in Round Rock last month.

"NEISD has a rich history of bands competing at the state level and is one of the few districts that have two bands selected to the competition this year," said Mark Chambers, senior director of Fine Arts.
