neisd goes red for women
On Feb. 1, 2013, North East ISD encourages all staff to wear red in support of the "Go Red for Women" challenge.
This movement celebrates the energy, passion and power we all have as women to band together to wipe out heart disease and stroke, and save women's lives.
If you would like to purchase a Red Dress pin in support of the cause, orders can be placed through the Health Services department by calling Irma Acosta at 657-8623. Pins are $5, but you are urged to act quickly. Only one week remains before the 2013 Go Red Day on Feb. 1.
All proceeds go to support the American Heart Association. In the past couple of months, the district has surpassed it's previous fundraising amounts, with nearly $10,000 raised. Please help the district raise funds for this important cause and support the women in your life.
Consider participating for yourself, your mother, your sister, or your daughter…for anyone touched by heart disease.
