Principals Recognition Month - October
October was recently recognized as Principals Month by Texas Governor RIck Perry. On Oct. 14, the NEISD Board of Trustees passed a similar recognition and invited all principals to be present for the special acknowledgement.
Principals set the academic tone for their schools and work collaboratively with teachers to develop and maintain high curriculum standards. They serve as instructional leaders, assessment experts, disciplinarians, community builders, public relations experts, facility managers and budget analysts. They do it all with a great love for their profession and the students they serve. NEISD thanks all its principals for the great work they do.
