NEISD Council of PTAs hosts founders' day celebration

The NEISD Council of PTAs celebrated the founding of the National Parent Teacher Association in 1897 with a celebration at Reagan High School.

Every year, the NEISD Council selects honorary life members and gives awards to people who have "made worthwhile contributions to the well being of children and youth." This year, more than 200 were made Texas Life Honorees.

Honorees were invited to a reception at Reagan Thursday, March 6. Reagan dance students and singers performed in the auditorium before the presentation of the life members.
