NEISD students ready for first day of school
On Aug. 25, approximately 68,000 North East ISD students arrived for the first day of school excited and ready for a great school year.
East Terrell Hills families capture the special day in pictures, while others walk their students to school from nearby neighborhoods.
Hill Middle School students are extra exited to come to school for the campus' first day, and are even welcomed by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian G. Gottardy.

A warm welcome, a cup of coffee and plenty of smiles awaited the newest families of Regency Place at their annual BooHoo - Yahoo! Breakfast. As parents filled the library, they were assured and encouraged through visits from members of the school leadership team.

Students ate a delicious breakfast before heading off to their classrooms with backpacks and school supplies in hand.
West Avenue families were welcomed by a pep rally with assistance from Lee High School cheerleaders and the elementary school's new mascot, soon to be named by the students.
