NEISD Board of trustees canvasses votes from may 10 election
The North East ISD Board of Trustees welcomed one new member and voted for new officers at a Special Board Meeting on Wednesday, May 14.
Letti Bresnahan is the new Board President. Shannon Grona was elected Board Vice-President. Sandy Hughey will continue to serve as Board Secretary.
Edd White will continue serving as the school board member for District 2. He faced Bob Coster in an election May 10. White received 583 votes. Coster received 333 votes.
Brigitte Perkins was unopposed in the race for District 7. She will continue to represent that district.
Sandi Wolff is the newest member on the board. She will represent District 3. She ran unopposed after former Board President Susan Galindo decided not to run for re-election.
Wolff, Perkins, and White each took their Oaths of Office at the Special Board Meeting.
