Windcrest Optimists honor students

The Windcrest Optimist Club held its December Student Recognition Program, and the following NEISD students were presented plaques by Club President Andy Biancardi:

East Terrell Hills Elementary - Faith Long;
Montgomery Elementary - Juan Arenas;
Walzem Elementary - Rayva Jefferson;
Windcrest Elementary - Kalista Sierer;
Krueger Middle School - Johnny Amar-Martinez;
Ed White Middle School - Mayra Camacho; and
Roosevelt High School - Selene Castro.

Students were selected for this award based on their conduct, citizenship, scholastic success, and optimistic attitude. Optimist congratulations go to these future leaders of our community.
