El Dorado Elementary will welcome grandparents as they join their grandchild for lunch on September 9 and 12, 2011. Kindergarten, third- and fourth-grade students' grandparents will attend September 9, and on September 12 grandparents of first-, second, and fifth-graders are invited for lunch.

Oak Grove Grandparents are invited to school on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 for a brief classroom visit, and they will be greeted at the door with a small token of appreciation. Teachers will then have activities for students and grandparents in the classroom. After their visit they are invited to have coffee or juice in the Parent Resource Room 7.

Olmos hosts Bring Your Grandparent to School Day

Olmos Elementary will celebrate Grandparent’s Day by hosting a “Bring your Grandparent to School” Day. Grandparents are invited to come on Friday, September 9, 2011 from 7:40 to 9 a.m. They will walk their student to class to be part of their morning classroom routine. Teachers will honor the day by having activities for students to do with their Grandparents. The morning will end with a presentation from the San Antonio Food Bank and a lite breakfast for the Grandparents.

In honor of Grandparent's Day, Thousand Oaks Elementary has invited grandparents to have lunch with their grandchild. We look forward to welcoming Kinder and 3rd-grade grandparents on Friday, September 9. 1st- and 4th-grade grandparents on Monday, September 12, and 2nd- and 5th-grade grandparents on Tuesday, September 13. The school hopes that the Thousand Oaks Thunderbolt students will enjoy this special time spent honoring their grandparent(s).

Wilderness Oak honors grandparents
