Madison JROTC visits the Pumpkin Patch

The Madison High School JROTC spent their Sunday afternoon unloading over 1000 pumpkins at the St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church. The cadets arrived at 3 p.m. and spent their time covered in hay and mud with smiles on their faces.

“It makes me feel great that we’re helping the church and the community and we’re asking for nothing in return,” said Cadet Major Melissa Kidder.

Cadet Captain Nathaniel Landry said, “It was fun carrying pumpkins around in the hot sun; I enjoyed spending my Sunday afternoon staying productive and helping others.”
