Madison High School held its first annual MAV March Madness Basketball Game on Thursday, Mar. 21. The excitement began at 6 p.m. with Principal Debra Aceves-Torres leading the Magnificent MAV Faculty Team against Coach Joseph Daxon’s Mighty Maverick Special Olympians.

MAV March Madness also highlighted Madison’s finest talent, including the Madison Drum line, Pep Band, Madison Avenue Vocal Ensemble, ROTC Armed Drill, ROTC Color Guard, Dollies, Fillies, and First Ladies. PALS, Student Council, Yearbook and Video class, administrators, counselors, coaches, faculty, parents, and students came out to support this community event.

The PALS won the SuperFan Award for top donations to the Olympian program and Coach Daxon's Mighty Mavericks won the trophy in an amazing evening celebrating the Madison community and their support for each other.
