Madison alum to win Academy Award in Technical Achievement
Madison High School Alum Matt Cordner (class of 1993) will be recognized by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences through the Scientific and Technical Awards Presentation. Cordner, along with two of his co-workers, developed a new type of computer animation called Pose Space Deformation. This technique has changed the way computer animation is accomplished.
The Presentation will be held Saturday, Feb. 9.
