macarthur raises $1,000 for sandy relief

The MacArthur High School National Honor Society (NHS), with help from PAL students, started a Red Cross/Sandy Relief Donation Drive the week after the storm. With the help of countless members of the National Honor Society and PALs, they were able to collect $644.34 in cash, and NHS donated the rest up to $1,000.

"We want to thank every caring person who helped us with this endeavor, especially the English Department at Mac who graciously allowed us to leave donation cans in their rooms," said NHS sponsor Kelly WIlliams.
