The MacArthur International Club at MacArthur High School is hosting its first ever International Festival. The event will take place on April 17 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Senior Dining Room and Cafeteria Patio.

Different clubs and organizations will sponsor booths showcasing the diversity that exists on our campus. Participating clubs include: Spanish Club, Spanish Honor Society, Grupo Folklorico Magnifico, Latin Club, Brony Club, French Honor Society, American Sign Language, German Club, The Burmese Project, ESL Club, and our Culinary Arts Program. Admission is free but tickets for purchasing booth items will sell for 50 cents each.

Booths will feature ethnic foods and cultural carnival games to entertain guests of all ages. Guests are encouraged to visit each booth and collect different international buttons to win a prize. Guests can also enjoy international music and performances by MacArthur students such as Grupo Folklorico Magnifico.

We want to celebrate the cultural diversity that exists on MacArthur’s campus. International Festival T-shirts will be available for $10 each featuring the slogan “Mac is Diversity” in a variety of languages.
